And more...
We know the path to recovery and beyond is different for everybody. In fact, there are no one size fits all interventional methods. That's why we partner with you to develop an individual specific plan of care that is based on your needs. Furthermore, as an evidence-supported fitness forward clinical practice we don't rely on outdated treatment strategies, such as hot packs, ice packs or endless modalities, which unfortunately appears to be more the norm than the exception in traditional, in-network (insurance driven) physical therapy practices.
What to Expect...

Step 1: The Examination - Getting to know about you!
Unlike most fast paced high volume physical therapy clinics we take the time to get to know you and the "why" behind your visit. We do this by learning more about you through a comprehensive one-on-one clinical examination. During this process we will find out more about the history of your current symptoms by asking relevant & specific questions, but more importantly we will listen & learn about you. Next you'll be taken through a series of physical tests & measures to better understand your current clinical presentation. The examination process will allow us to delineate how your current presentation "S.P.I.N.S.S."...

-
Severity (Intensity of Condition?)
-
Pain Mechanism (Nociceptive, Nociplastic, or Peripheral Neuropathic)
-
Irritability (How easily its aggravated?)
-
Nature (How do your symptoms respond?)
-
Stage (Stage of Healing?)
-
Stability (Progression of the condition?)
During this process we will develop an understanding of your current clinical presentation as well as determine if there might be a need for further testing (referral to another medical practitioner). At this point we also begin to determine what should or should not be placed in your interventional plan.
This lays the foundation for step 2.

Step 2: The Evaluation - Creating the Plan for a Successful Recovery
From the examination findings we evaluate & discuss our findings with you. We will take time to answer any of your questions regarding our findings. We will then map out an interventional strategy that is unique to you based on these examination findings & not based on some preset one-size fits all protocol. A person's pain experience is often multi-dimensional & should be treated as such. With this in mind we will also provide a great deal of education throughout our time together regarding the multiple facets of recovery. This is something supported by the current evidence & we find extremely beneficial to the success of any patient experience.

Step 3: The Intervention - Getting you back to your Active Lifestyle
We realize you want to return as quickly as possible to your active lifestyle & we want that too. The reality is we can't speed up the healing process, but we can alter its course by implementing too much or too little activity. That's where our one-on-one interventional process comes into play.
Throughout your follow up treatments we will continually assess & reassess your musculoskeletal response to each treatment ensuring you are staying on track toward your goals each & every visit. Your individualized treatment may include any combination of the following (based on your needs): manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue mobilization (manual or instrument assisted), dry needling, joint mobilization/manipulation, as well as a heavy emphasis on therapeutic exercise, and home exercise instruction/progression.
