Why a "Cash-based" Practice?

When it comes to our own healthcare we really don't like to be limited & if you're here then it might be safe to say you don't either.

Limiting factors in an insurance driven practice may include, but not limited to, a limited number of visits, made to treating only one body part, having to share your treatment time with 2 or 3 folks you more than likely don't know & having a therapist trying to keep up with all their daily notes causing them to be less focus on your care.

These factors - not to mention your insurance company may not even "approve" your physical therapy treatment - can often dampen a patient’s progress along with hindering a physical therapist's ability to treat their patient according to what's in the patient's best interest.

Interestingly, out-of-pocket expenses over the course of physical therapy treatment will often be less expensive for patients such as yourself in a cash-based model than through a traditional insurance-driven physical therapy practice.

How does Cash-Based Work?

In a cash-based treatment model, your therapist will enter into an agreement with you to provide physical therapy services in a manner that both parties have agreed upon to help you reach your interventional goals most efficiently. One of the major benefits to this process is FULL DISCLOSURE along with no surprise bills in 3 months.

You will pay at the time of service. This model allows us to focus on providing direct, one-on-one care from a doctorally trained physical therapist, while keeping administrative costs low. You may pay for services rendered using cash or credit card.

In some instances, you may also personally file for reimbursement from your insurance company to curb your out-of-pocket expense. Most insurance companies, with the exception of Medicare, Medicaid and some HMOs, will provide reimbursement for services received “out-of-network." We can assist you with this process!

Cash-based DOES NOT mean less quality care. In fact, it is quite the opposite! With over 17 years of clinical practice & training our doctorally trained clinicians are definitely NOT short on experience, education, or the skills necessary to provide you with exceptional medical care.
